During this project, we collected
data for the infographic about our
themes and concepts. I chose the
theme colour so I created a survey
to find out the most popular favourite colour out of 30 people. During
my journey, i also took data from
how popular each individual colour
is in Sunderland and how often
each colour is used in some sort of
graphic design.

JOURNEY
For this project, I wanted to see the popularity of colour, to then portray through my images. I took a journey all around Sunderland, and
ended up at the sea, to find out about the use of colour in every day life and about their representations.
The images below are examples of some of the images taken and then shown how they have been edited. I chose to do the selective
colour technique. This was done by having two of the same image, one black and white full of contrast and texture, then another image
with enhanced bright colours. In Photoshop i would then erase the black and white parts that are the brightest areas, creating this effect.
